Dr. Tish

Dr. Leticia M. DeMaio joined the practice in 2004. She graduated from Knox College in 1983 with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from Illinois College of Optometry in 1989.

As a student at Illinois College of Optometry, Dr. Tish was a member of Tomb and Key Honor Society and Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society. Also while in school, she was a research assistant and a member of VOSH (Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity). She participated in a VOSH trip to Mexico where hundreds of people who do not have access to eye care were provided with free examinations and glasses.

Dr. Tish is board certified in the diagnosis and treatment of eye disease and has completed numerous post graduate courses in laser vision correction, corneal reshaping therapy, and therapeutic management of eye disease. She is also a member of the American Optometric Association, the Illinois Optometric Association, West Suburban Optometric Association, and a TLC Laser Affiliate. Dr. Tish specializes in pediatrics, bifocal/specialty contact lens fitting, and pre/post-operative surgical care. She welcomes all new patients.

We hope that you and your family have remained safe and healthy during this public health crisis.  Due to social distancing, we will be limited at the number of patients we are able to see in a day.  We appreciate your patience during this time.

What We Did To Prepare Our Office to Re-Open

When possible, please come alone to your appointment. If you need to bring a companion to your appointment, we ask they wait in the car unless the patient is a minor. When scheduling for children, please only bring the child that has a scheduled appointment. Please wear a mask or suitable face covering as per state regulations. Doctors and staff will be wearing masks. There are protective face shields on our exam equipment. Sanitized exam lanes and equipment have always been our practice. Based on the CDC's latest recommendations, we have added extra precautions and additional steps specific to this pandemic.

Thank you for your patience. We will not only get through this, but we will emerge stronger after it!
